Writing competition with 'China' theme


The Liverpool Literary Festival Writing Competition is looking for your stories of up to 500 words on the theme of China, and the competition will be judged by the author Philip Pullman.

The competition is open to Primary and Secondary school children as well as University of Liverpool and XJTLU students.

Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place in each category (Primary, Secondary and Students), with the winners announced during the Liverpool Literary Festival in October.

There is no entry fee, but each writer can only enter one story.

There is a 500-word limit and all submissions must be written in English.

The deadline for entering is midnight, Friday 20 July 2018.
