Reigate & Banstead Writes Competition


Budding authors in Reigate and Banstead are invited to enter the Reigate and Banstead Writes competition, managed by the local Warwick School and open to children aged ten to 14 years.

The writing competition is asking for stories from children who live in the local area. Stories can be about anything - they can be funny, fantastical, adventurous, set in the past or an account of real life events such as a day out with friends. It doesn't matter what they are about - but they must be very clearly set in the Reigate area.

Stories should be up to 1,000 words. The first prize is a Kindle Paper White and there are further prizes for the four selected runners-up.

The closing date is 28th February. Entry forms, rules and information sheet can be downloaded from:
